Our company has its own environmentally licensed terminal area in the immediate vicinity of the port, including canopy and hall areas. In addition to these, we also offer storage areas of various sizes within the port. In addition, we offer machinery services for timber terminals with several years of experience.
Our terminal provides services for the reception, discharging and transhipment of goods.
Loads can be delivered to the terminal and port area 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Aava Shipping staff is generally available Mon-Fri from 07:00 to 15:30, but we are also available at other times if required.

Our own terminal area, located in the immediate vicinity of the port, covers a total area of 6.5 ha. Our terminal is fenced, camera-monitored, and access to the area is through automated gates with access authorisation only.
The terminal is ideal for the secure storage of a wide range of products. It is very easy to move products between the port area and the terminal.
The bridge scales are located next to the area and are available to our customers. Storage can be arranged on a short-term or long-term basis and, if required, we offer turnkey solutions for managing the entire logistics chain.
Aava Shipping has a long experience handling of special loads and heavy goods. We have been involved in many large industrial projects where accuracy, safety and reliability are crucial.
Our staff are well trained and our operations are HSEQ certified. Since we started operations in autumn 2020, we have not had a single accident at work and we are very proud of this.
Terminal services are complemented by distribution and transport coordination. Aava Shipping acts as the customer's logistics partner, ensuring that the goods move from port to port efficiently and on time.
Our machines are equipped with Smart Huhtaware monitoring equipment, which allows us to compile area- and machine-specific reports for our customers, showing, for example, the hourly work performed. This makes our operations transparent for our customers, also in terms of invoicing.
