The port of Mäntyluoto is well connected, with the Finnish national road 2 practically ending at Mäntyluoto Pier 1.The port has more than 2 km of quays with a maximum draught of 7.7-12 m. Other maximum vessel dimensions are 250 m long and 38 m wide.

The port of Pori is an excellent winter port: ice class restrictions are usually always the lightest in Finland and the port remains operational all year round. The channel leading to the port is 8 nm long and easy to navigate. Towing equipment is always available if needed, Alfons Håkans has two tugs moored in Mäntyluoto.
